No issue here, with Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, and Internet Explorer.

The above are Windows versions.

Was your client viewing the form on an iPad or phone? The forms should be viewable on those platforms.

I am wondering if there is a way to view the old-style template variable table that was shown in older versions of the software instead of the drop-down selection lookup UI that is in the current version? For some of our longer forms it's much easier to find what we need in the previous table format.

Thanks,

Hello,
it's several years that all my pages with machform refresh twice when the users open in their browser (Chrome and Safari).
I've already contact you two years ago and you sent me a custom "machform_loader.js" but I think it's time to fix this BIG issue for all in the next versions (to change every time the js file for all the installations when you update machform is very frustrating).

To test the issue is simple. Open this page (first time, if it's already in cache you won't see the issue) with Chrome or Safari (mac platform) and you will see the "refresh/reloading" bug:
http://www.appnitro.com/contact

Is it possible to fix definitely the issue?
Thanks

I just solve my problem :)

To restore the forms

In the Data folder there was nothing in it.

First thing is to restore the files by FTP and file config.php
Second among my admin machform and create a form manually.

For example form_12345; css and files: in the ftp a folder inside the DATA (ID = 12345) form_12345 folder inside the folder with your own folders created

Restoring files and folders css:

In my administration I had even my 10 forms, but in the ftp had nothing, only the form (12345)

To restore my data I did was: enter the FTP and the DATA folder, then manually create this folder:

For example: contact form> ID = 22445, in ftp> DATA> form_22445 (create it)

Then you have all your forms created folders manually You enter the folder you created first form (folder: form_12345) and copies to your desktop folders inside (files and css).

After that all you have to do is upload the css files and folders on your desktop to each folder created and the forms to be restored placed where you find him.

I hope you serve ... I save 7 days of work because they were quite elaborate forms and themes.

Hello mistakenly delete all the folder containing my appnitro software, climbed back up the folder and made the connection config.php and was restored, but my forms can not be duplicated nor catch the template which issues them, is there any way recover my old data via FTP software appnitro?
Or it is better to install from 0 to create all the forms again :(

In the folder "data" forms and within css files are stored and can recover some of that?

Update, when I change "Use SMTP Server to Send Emails" to unchecked the form processed properly. when I have it checked is when I get the error

Probably that is because you hadn't filled in the SMTP details inthe panel headed "Use SMTP Server to Send Emails".

However Machform can make use of the internal mechanism "sendmail" or "phpmail" and doesn't need an extermal mail server. All you need is to specify the email address to receive the incoming submission notifications.

http://www.appnitro.com/doc-notifications

If you use SMTP you need to specify

mail server
Port Number
Username
Password
etc.

Fill in the details for your mail server in the panel, "Use SMTP Server to Send Emails".

You will find these clicking "More Options" in the "Send Notifications to my Inbox" panel.

I think its to do with the browser "session", so if you close the browser, reopen it, then go back to the form you will get the password prompt again. I assume that means the form is using session cookies for that particular function and as long as the cookie is current the form won't ask for the password again in that "session".

If you want a more definitive answer, suggest contacting Appnitro directly - http://www.appnitro.com/contact.

What embed method are you using - the idea is, the form should belend seamlessly with the website's design.

http://www.appnitro.com/doc-form-code
See the note about the "Javascript" embed method.

I believe the above is also the case with the PHP or iframe methods.

only the stand-alone "link" or "pop-up window" method should show the form's actual theme.

Problem solved! I sent them my login info for my host and Machform admin and they fixed it. In my case (and probably yours), the problem was a folder permission issue. Below is 3 lines from the response email they sent after fixing it :

"What we did to fix this:

1) Adjust the "File Upload Folder" path on your Settings page to use the full path.

2) Change the folder permission of the above setting "

The "File Upload Folder" path they are speaking about is in the MachForm admin panel settings (advanced options in the miscellaneous settings box). They adjusted my path to "G:\PleskVhosts\mywebsite.com\httpdocs\machform\data". Note- I use Godaddy with Windows Plesk so this may differ slightly if you use Linux or something else. Then the permission folder they changed the settings for would be the "data" folder located in your Machform folder in you hosting area. By "change" I assume they mean setting the permission to writable. And thats it. Works perfect for me. Please be aware that what I have written here is what I gathered is the fixing process based on the info from their email... so there's a chance im off.

Just to clarify - My issue was that the form worked fine but after clicking the submit button, an "Internal Error" message would be generated. I would still receive the sent message but no page redirect or confirmation message. Anyway all fixed now...hope this helps.
