I can't avoid having customers using IE6 and IE7. The problems in the form are located in only two issues (after 15,000 forms filled by our customers): not being able to press "Continue" after filling the form, and not being able to fill the e-mail field. If you could manage to get rid of these bugs, I would love you for all my life :-D

We've tested your form using IE6, IE7 and IE8.
All worked fine during our test.

I strongly suggest to recommend your users to upgrade their IE6.
IE6 is a pain, it can be damaged easily and infected with unwanted toolbars.

At least you should use IE7... even better IE8.

Same problem with a LOT of customers using IE (I don't know which version as most of the customers don't know). They can't fill the e-mail field, and I can't substitute if with another text field as I need it to send the form confirmation. Can you check different IExplorer versions?

I had the issue (as posted above) with IE6 but cleared up after an upgrade to IE8. The curious thing is that I have a PHP page builder application. The page I built is formatted as expected when viewed in IE8 and Firefox but on my works laptop running IE6 the input box is half way down the page rather than the top.

I really do think that IE6 doesn't like PHP. Also as a test try to rename your fields not using the words email or address as from memory those labels seemed to trigger the inability to type in the data.

Ive just ran into this same problem - it seems to be related to trying to run IE6, IE7 and IE8 on the same PC?

I'm using parallels running XP on a mac to test sites for IE and both IE6 and IE7 standalone installed version won't let me enter text in the input fields, whereas the standard install of IE8 will (inc. safari and firefox) ..

I'll have to look into this further, but does this make any sense based on your similar issues?

I've just tested your form using three different browsers (Firefox 3, IE7, Safari) and was able to enter all fields and submit to the review page.

I suggest to ask your customer for their browser version. If possible, a screenshot would help also.

Most likely the browser is damaged and need to be repaired or upgraded.

Hi!
We have the same problem with the e-mail field. Some users can't fill it, I don't know why. I wasn't able to locate which browser is affected. We receive 120 entries a day, so I think that we suffered almost all known and unknown problems :-(

Hmm.. that's weird.
We've tested using major browsers (Firefox, IE, Safari) and all worked fine.

Perhaps try to reinstall your IE, or install the latest version, IE8.

Just updated IE. All OK.

Raises the question of why/how and what happens if users of the form have the same problem.

For my part I'll put it down on my site FAQ.

Ok so I can put 3 single line text fields in the bottom of the form, save and use OK. I can then drag one up the form, save and use OK. As soon as I call it Contact Email it fails to accept text.

Right it certianly DOES NOT like email and address fields. When I put one in it's fails to accept text.

Having to use single line text field for this info as a work around...
