I have also tried to find a away of forcing the autocomplete to be turned off for the form, but with out success yet.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try to paste the code into your WYSIWYG editor, no need to search for the head tags.
Make sure to paste the code as HTML/javascript code though, not as plain text.

I just posted another topic for this same problem - I apologize because I forgot this one already existed.

I cannot figure this out because I am not well versed in PHP. As I mentioned before, Interspire Shopping Cart pages are created from the admin back-end using a WYSIWYG editor, like a content management system. So I paste the MachForm IFRAME code into the WYSIWYG editor and then I have a nice contact page. So as I mentioned I have no idea how to get the code Max posted into header or body tags because they really do not exist, at least for my contact page.

Any other suggestions?

Have you tried the auto expanding javascript posted on the first page?
The script posted by max works great

Old post I know, but just came across it because I am having the 'height' problem with an unusual setup; I am using Interspire Shopping Cart that uses a <wrapper> tag that PHP generated pages are placed within. The MachForm iframe creates a huge gap (almost 30px) at the bottom of the page, just above the footer. This works great when nothing is completed on the form, which will probably never happen, since it allows all the error messages to be displayed and still see the submit button.

I know it is impossible to develop for every type of Web site, but it would be great if some type of 'auto' height adjustment was built into MachForm.

In the interim, does anyone have suggestion how to implement this adjustable height fix into my setup?

it would be great if MachForm could be ported to a joomla module or even better a joomla component.
Using a wrapper isn't great for these forms and as content it lacks then possibilities.
Any one skilled to make such component?

Thanks guys, but I'm still having problems. I changed the width to 100% and Firefox seems to show the page correctly; however, Internet Explorer doesn't (I can't still see the reCaptcha box completely and the messager that comes with the mouseover effect doesn't show on I.E. Any sugestions?
Thanks for everything, Clay.

I'm having problems not with the height by with the width of my embedded form: I tried embedding the form by using all 3 scripts (the html script works better) but none of them shows the right side of the form correctly. For instance, I can't see the right side of the recaptcha box or the right side of some of the fields. I can't see the "guidelines" I set up for some of the fields (mouseover effect). I tried adjusting that but I simply couldn't make it work - specially because I have limited knowledge on programming. I even tried both scripts listed in the previous entries without success. Any suggestions? here's a link to my "contact page" if you'd like to see how the form looks like: http://importexgbs.com/contact.php.
Thank you so much for all of you for helping us with this Forum!

Hi lynne,

Basically, you'll need to paste those javascript code into the same page where you embed your forms.

As for max instruction above

1) Paste the code into your page head section. Head section is somewhere between <head> ..</head> tags. If your page doesn't have any <head> tag, you can add it yourself at the beginning of the page, after the <title> tag.

2) Use the above code to embed your form. Replace the src="" part with your own form URL. For example src="http://www.appnitro.com/forms/embed.php?id=1"

Hope that helps.

Hi I have come up with a better way and works with all browsers

(1) Paste The blow to the head

<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
function calcHeight()
{
//find the height of the internal page
var the_height=
document.getElementById('the_iframe').contentWindow.
document.body.scrollHeight;

 //change the height of the iframe
document.getElementById('the_iframe').height=
the_height;
}
//-->
</script>

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(2)Paste the blow to the body and replace (page here) with your url

<iframe width="100%" id="the_iframe"
onLoad="calcHeight();"
src="your page here"
scrolling="NO"
frameborder="0"
height="1">
An iframe capable browser is
required to view this web site.
