&#60;p&#62;replace it with this one:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;pre&#62;&#60;code&#62;$regex  = &#38;#39;/^[A-z0-9][\+\/\w.-]*@[A-z0-9][\w\-\.]*\.[A-z0-9]{2,6}$/&#38;#39;;&#60;/code&#62;&#60;/pre&#62;
&#60;p&#62;That should pass the &#34;+&#34; and &#34;/&#34; characters.

&#60;p&#62;Well i thought the adress was wrong too, but then i looked it up:&#60;br /&#62;
&#60;a href=&#34;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_address&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_address&#60;/a&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
&#34;Conversely, many websites make the mistake of checking email addresses too strictly, rejecting addresses containing perfectly valid characters like + or / signs.&#34;&#60;/p&#62;
