This may be a State-by-State (or even country) issue, but I am located in Texas (U.S.) and have products that are sold by affiliates. I also have a few membership sites. In both cases I require that the user check a box signifying that they have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions (or contract terms) and I place a link on the form to take them to a page that lists those terms. By checking the box they agree to the terms. Please note you must have the words "...state that I have read and agree to.." in order to bind them. My lawyer said this is sufficient in my cases and does result in an electronic signature. Hope this helps.

Place a check-box in your Form. Place in the details of your checkbox all the legalize. When receiving the form the checkbox will signify your statement is read and you will be protected legally. (confirm with your lawyer)

This is not software related but I hope someone can answer this question.

I would like to use MachForm to put a legally binding contract online. What is required to do so?
