It doesn't request a password as the default is already set, "machform". And it probably prompts you to enter your email address, not a "username" specifically as your email is your username.

Step 5 from the install instructions:

5. Run the installer script

The installer script is located in the root of your MachForm directory. Run the installer via your browser and follow the instructions on the screen
(e.g. open http://www.yourdomain/machform/installer.php –change to your own domain).
You will be prompted to enter your email address and the license number. Enter both and click the install button.

Happened to me too. It's from not reading the instructions that it gives you during install. As for your username - put in your email address and then the password of machform. When you get logged in, change the password right away. I can't remember at this point if you had already put in your email address for the install/upgrade.

If you have access to your MySQL database you can look at the tables with the username and then log in with that (it should be there). Remember: the password is machform.

Regards,

Hi!

I just finished installing machform and am logging into the admin panel for the first time. It is asking for an e-mail and password.

I am not sure what e-mail/password it is asking for? I don't recall ever giving it an e-mail/pass in the first place. Only the MySQL db user/pass in config.php and then an email/key to confirm my installation.

Now it's asking for an e-mail and password and I'm not sure what to put in. It tells me everything I put in is invalid.

When I try to say "forgot password" I get the following error:

Unable to send new password. Error message:

Error sending email!{"status" : "ok", "message" : "A new password has been sent to your email address."}

What do I do from here?
