Another option is to use Bitly ( https://bitly.com/ ).
I email the bitly and it keeps an accurate count of the forms being clicked on.

Such a feature is not within Machform itself, but I did a search in Google and found these results.

https://www.google.com.au/search?q=download+link+tracking+script&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

Are you sending them a link to the file directly, or to a web page with the link on it? The above results page contains many solutions for link/download trackers so maybe you can use one of them. I'm not sure they are design to work from a link clicked in an email, but usually from a normal web page.

I was thinking, if you put the download link in the "thank you" page then it's immediately available and the link/download tracker can simply be implemented within a custom "thanks" page.

It may not be the ideal solution but a work-around and maybe Appnitro will implement such a feature in future.

I have clients fill out a contact form before sending them a download link for my brochure in the confirmation email. Is there any way to track if they have clicked the link to download the brochure?
