To MXZRXP.

To address both questions:

(1) You can customise the 'auto reply' email and include (or exclude) any field you like. Instead of using {entry_data} which will send every field's data, you can pick and choose the ones you want in the email, but go(the default) you can customise which template variables to include by choosing and typing in their short-code equivalents. So in your case, you would not put in the one that relates to the SS number. The system will identify what you have called the fields, and give you the actual field name ({element_1}, {element_2} etc).

See this documentation page: http://www.appnitro.com/doc-notifications for details.

(2) - There's no way to allow the user to "opt out" of receiving the auto reply as the email being sent is controlled by the Admin user through the Admin Panel of Machform.

I'm sorry because this is not answering your question, I am actually asking a question from you. Did you use the number field or is there a way to make it look like a ss# boxes?

Thanks

I am collecting the users social security number over a secure connection.

I would like to send the user an email confirmation, and that I can do- but

1) How do I block the SS number from being displayed in the email?

2) How do I give the user the option to receive notification or not?

thanks
