Indeed it seems to accept invalid dates like 31 Feb or 31 September.  but on inspection of the submitted entry,  it doesn't actually save that data to the database (just leaves that field blank), nor does it give a validation error.

&#60;p&#62;I have been reported the following &#34;bug&#34; from one person filling a form a created. This person entered a date in a required &#34;date field&#34; of my form on page 4. Then shw moved to page 5 but clicked in previous page button to check some information. What happened is that she saw the date field was now empty, but she was able to keep filling and submitted the form without any error.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The problem is that this was not supposed to happen, as this date field is set as required!
