Yep, Andrew is correct. Section break should work just fine.

That works!
I tried it before, but somehow it didn't work. But now it does and the form submits okay.
Thank you for your input!

OK....

I'm pretty sure you can do this with the Section Break field (you add it like any other field in Machform editor) except this one is not a user-input field.

Try it and see if it suits your purpose.

I just tried this and it appears you can even add HTML code to it for simple things like bold, underline, and even hyperlinks.

Yuniar can confirm, hopefully, whether this will muck up the program/form/database or not....

???

Hi AMurray,

Thats not wat i meant. For example you have a form where people can register for an event. And after the last input field you want some extra text giving the user additional information about the event they register for.
For the style/lay-out it's much nicer to have some paragraphs of normal text, instead of an textbox giving the information.

I hope you understand what i'm saying.
Hans

Hans,

I'm not totally sure about what you're asking and how you want to use the paragraph text box.

Are you wanting to put user instructions on the form? To do this, use the "Guide to User" feature - type the instruction in the box in the form editor mode, for each field in the form.

When the form is viewed on the web, it will show a box with the instructions as the user clicks the mouse into the fields (or uses TAB key) to go to the next field to fill them in. You can add instructions (or not) to each field as you see it is appropriate.

Please post back with further information if this answer does not address your question.

I like to half way down the form to add some extra information for the person who fills out the form. But i cant find no way to do that, only to use the (ugly) paragraph textbox.
I s there another way to do it (like having an option in the adding fields section: "Add info"

Loooking forward to some response!
