Doing a read query to the database won't harm any of your form data. It should be safe to do that.

Sort of building on a previous post (http://www.appnitro.com/forums/topic/multiple-choice-options-driven-from-entries-of-another-form?replies=2), is it ok to write code that goes against the machform database to display a set of results? I think the administrator view of the data is great, but i was looking to display the results in a different way, so is it ok to query the database directly? Any downsides or no-no's to that approach?

Thanks.
