&#60;p&#62;I would clarify further and say you're talking about the emailed notification of submissions to Machform.  In older versions, the only option was to click the link for the file, which prompted for the Admin's user and pw to view the file.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Nowadays (latter 3.x and 4.x versions) you can also have the option of sending the file as an attachment to the email which you simply click to open as you would any normal email attachment.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;However if that is not what you want, then check that you haven't accidentally turned on the &#34;Send File as email attachment&#34; option. Turn it off, and then check with a test message to see if you can get the link in the email that needs the log on to view it.
