I think the problem was with my site's htaccess file. It specified the index file as index.html only. I added index.php and now it goes straight to the login screen. Thanks for the advice.

You shouldn't be seeing any file listing. The script should simply run if it is installed correctly and you have the system requirements to run it i.e. PHP, MySQL on your web hosting.

I would suggest for installation issues, contact Appnitro directly - http://www.appnitro.com/contact. They may monitor this forum periodically but do not necessarily dedicate full time resources to it - it is faster to email them for support.

In mean time can you come back with answers to these questions?

Have you installed the application? - http://www.appnitro.com/installation.

Do you have the system requirements for installing Machform? http://www.appnitro.com/requirements

Who is your hosting service - is your hosting account configured correctly with PHP and MySQL?

Is your web site otherwise working? Do you have any other PHP scripts?

Regarding the file listing, you should have the ability to turn it off - see the following (as an example - your hosting service may have similar procedure) for how to do this, typically in cPanel - http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/cpanel/remove-index-listing,

This doesn't help explain why you're seeing the file listing, because if you have Machform installed properly you should see the application's interface.

Hi

When I put in my website address followed by /machform I get a full list of all the Machform files. Do I need an htaccess file to ensure that it goes straight to the login screen?
