The way this works in Machform is that you give the field that should only be accessible by authorized users the "Admin Only" property under "Field Visible to" in the "Field Properties" tab when you are editing your form. Then you need to give the authorized users the rights to edit entries for this form in the "Users Manager" page ("Users" tab) of the Admin interface.
