@bto: Well, you can change the configuration of Machform so that all deleted entries are permanently removed, but I believe it will only affect entries deleted after the configuration change and it's an "all-or-nothing" setting: it will affect every form in your Machform installation all the time, once you make the change. See this message from Yuniar for details:

Thanks for that! I upgraded to 4.5.1 just now, and saw exactly what you are talking about.

it doesn't do quite what we were wanting- to purge deleted records but not existing records, but it does help. Thanks!

@bto: Yes, there is, and version 4.4 may have this feature; it depends on when it was downloaded. If your customer does have the second version of 4.4, then, if they delete all of the entries, they will see a link called "Reset Entry Number" under the message "No Entries. This form doesn't have any entries yet." Part of the process of resetting the starting number of the entries to 1 is that all of the entries are purged.

If they don't see the "Reset Entry Number" link, they will have to upgrade to version 4.5. Or, you could contact Appnitro and ask for the updated files to add this feature to version 4.4.

I noticed that when we delete a record, it actually stays in the database. Is there a way within Machforms that the user can purge deleted records?

The customer is on 4.4.

Thanks!
