<description>&#60;p&#62;Whatever changes you make to the drop-down list affects existing data.  If you delete a choice, and someone has chosen that, then it is gone.  If you rename a choice, whatever was previously selected is now renamed.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Here is what I would try (you might want to try this on a dummy form first with some sample data) -&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;1. Prevent any new entries by disabling the form.&#60;br /&#62;
2. Export the table.&#60;br /&#62;
3. Change the form choices.&#60;br /&#62;
4. Use an update query to restore the data which got changed in step 3&#60;br /&#62;
5. Check your work&#60;br /&#62;
6. Re-enable the form.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Is there a way to re-sort multiple choice options?  We have a few people who created forms with a bunch of options under a multiple choice dropdown and they were not in the correct order (we typically want them to be in alphabetical order....)&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Since we have already received a bunch of entries on these forms and cannot risk losing data, is there a built-in way to resort the options without losing anything?
