If you delete a choice, and someone has chosen that, then it is gone. If you rename a choice, whatever was previously selected is now renamed.</p> <p>Here is what I would try (you might want to try this on a dummy form first with some sample data) -</p> <p>1. Prevent any new entries by disabling the form.<br /> 2. Export the table.<br /> 3. Change the form choices.<br /> 4. Use an update query to restore the data which got changed in step 3<br /> 5. Check your work<br /> 6. We have a few people who created forms with a bunch of options under a multiple choice dropdown and they were not in the correct order (we typically want them to be in alphabetical order....)</p> <p>Since we have already received a bunch of entries on these forms and cannot risk losing data, is there a built-in way to resort the options without losing anything? </p>
