Hi all,

I've checked with Yuniar around a problem I have and he confirmed it can't be supported by Machform. I've asked him if it could be included in future and I wanted to see if anybody else thinks it would be useful.

The problem I have is creating a sign-up form for a party. There are places for 100 people, however there isn't a way in Machform to limit submissions to this number. A form submission limit won't work as you can sign-up multiple people with one form, and a choice limit on a drop-down wouldn't work either, as the drop-down would be the number of attendees, so with a choice limit of 10 you would have 10 x 1 attendee, 10 x 2 attendee etc.

I believe the solution for this would be to implement similar code to the choice limit feature to the number/quantity field. This could then also be used as a simple stock/inventory check for order forms as well.

A show of hands for those that would like to see this? :-)
