Accessing MySQL MachForm database remotely

I have a situation where I will be using MachForm to capture information at the end of a company training course. There will be 1500 people taking the course. The headquarters wants "read only" access to the database so they can pull information in real time.
I host with GoDaddy. They recommend setting up a database with Direct Access. Is there an easier way to allow remote access (FTP etc...) and will doing this create problems with the way MachForm operates. BTW I love the product.

You can setup a database with Direct Access, as suggested by GoDaddy. It won't affect they way MachForm operates.
I'm not sure if GoDaddy provide "read only" access though. The last time I checked, it was "read write". Anyway, if this is the case, just make sure that your client doesn't delete or modify the data.
