Any guideline about updating Machform4 ?

    Does it just replace all the current files with the files from updated package ?

    Yes it overrwrites the files.

    There are three items you should NOT copy over with the new versions - Hooks Folder, Data Folder (contains your forms CSS files, and uploaded docs) and Configuration.php (contains your database connection info). That's all documented in the link below.

    (disregard the "V3" in the URL, these instruction are the same for upgrading 3.x to 4.x and 4.x to 4.5)

    Once you copy the files, you run the "upgrade.php" script in your browser - that updates the database where necessary. It takes only a few seconds, then you log in as normal with the same username/password you were using previously.
