Browser autofill putting full name into middle name or other name fields

    I don't know if there is any way this can be addressed from within Machform, but we have been having a minor problem with forms that use the name field. This applies whether the middle name "sub-field" is included or not, but it is more likely to be a problem when the middle name field is included. The issue is that, in Chrome, at least (I haven't thoroughly tested other browsers), when autofill is active, the user's full name is put into each "sub-field" in the name field that is blank when the autofill occurs. If the user's name is John Smith and they start to fill that in and the autofill "prompt" pops up and they accept it, then autofill will put "John Smith" in all three "sub-fields," first, middle, and last. If the user doesn't notice then his name will show up as "John Smith John Smith John Smith" in the name field in the entry for that form. If the user notices the problem and types "John" in the first "sub-field", leaves the middle "sub-field" blank, and types "Smith" in the last "sub-field", the problem would seem to have been averted, but if they encounter another field, such as email or address that offers to be autofilled and they accept that, the blank middle "sub-field" in the name field that they are finished with will be populated with "John Smith", and the user is very unlikely to notice that this has happened. Then the user's name will appear as "John John Smith Smith" in the name field in the entry for that submission to the form.

    I must say this one is pretty much difficult to address (technical issues).

    The Chrome's team seems to have proposed a solution to address this but it's pretty much experimental at this point:

    I'm afraid we can't implement the solution yet.
