Check if email is in the database

    Hello,
    Is there a way to check if an email is still in the database
    Example if email field is element_4
    I've seen this on a forum wich is a bit what I want to do but is it possible to implement it on machform ?

    There is a Rule for that field you can set: No Duplicates. Checking this rule will verify that the data entered into this field is unique and has not been submitted previously.
