deselect option in multiple choice field

Is there a way for a user to deselect a choice they've made in a multiple choice field? It's not a required field, but I can't figure out how they can deselect something they may have clicked on if they change their mind. They can move their choices around and select different options, but not get rid of any choice completely.

What you describe is the default behaviour of the 'radio' button HTML field type. You can't toggle it off/on like you can with the check-box field type.

With additional code perhaps a button can be added to the matrix field type (for example) to reset all choices to off, but I'm not sure how complex that would be to achieve. You could probably do the same thing with the standard multiple-choice field set.

A work around would be to add an extra option to the questions as "No Choice" or "No Answer".

Thank you. I can do a "no choice" option. Hadn't thought of it that way. Thanks.
