    Hi,

My email notifications work great with gmail, yahoo, hotmail... but email clients other than that are not received email notifications. Is there anything I can do about this?

(or has this been discussed, could you send me a link, I saw some simliar topics but I didn't see an answer)

    thank you.

What kind of errors (if any) are you getting - e.g. failed/bounced delivery of email or something else?

Machform should send to pretty much any email address. It is the recipient end that is likely the cause (and outside your control).

Are you asking about the email:

    1) you receive (notification of submissions) or

    2) the auto-reply the user filling in the form receives?

Have you set up the email options correctly - the "You" and "Your User" side?

For the "You" side, you can enter any email address to have the submissions delivered by email to you.

For the "your users" side, you would need to select the "email" field (as that is the one, to which Machform then knows to send the email to the user) but it depends on the user actually filling in that Email field with a valid email address (not only in the correct format as in you@somewhere.com but an actual existing email address in the form (so you should make it a required field if you want them to get an auto-reply).

There could be other factors if by "not working" you mean emails are not being delivered or received by either yourself or the user submitting the form.

Are these problems you are experiencing or your users? There are other factors beyond your control e.g. users have spam filters that block the email address used by Machform or similar issues.

Other than the above, can you provide some further information - what you expect to happen and what is not happening.

Additional comment: there could be an issue where the recipient email ("You") is not the same as the domain name, which is a restriction of your host - but you're talking about email clients (although I don't know that makes a diffence). Your host may only allow scripts such as Machform to send from/to an email address within the same domain name

e.g. if you have a generic email like "no-reply@yoursite.com" from which you send the Machform's emails, and something like "webmaster@yoursite.com" to receive the submissions they are on the same domain as Machform installed - www.yoursite.com but if you try sending to or from a *@yahoo.com or *@google.com (etc) it may be blocked.

I am getting no errors, I do not know if the emails are sending but I DO know that they are not being received. The emails are sending to the big email clients (gmail, hotmail, yahoo....) but they don't send out to most of the smaller email clients (like work email for instance). The email is set up correctly as it automatically shoots out to the major email clients (mentioned earlier) I have checked spam. The no-reply... is my sites address, not a google/yahoo address.

chelseaclementsgmailcom -- is the mail server located outside the website server? If so, you need to contact your hosting tech support and ask them to turn off "Local Mail Delivery" on the website server. So that the mail will be sent to the correct mail server, not the local mail server.
