Feature request: Alternative short column heading for data export

I want to renew my call for a new feature to be added to Machform, a new field attribute that can contain a "short name" or "nickname" for data fields that will be used for column headers in exported data in CSV or Excel form. It could also be used for the results summary html page/PDF in place of the full field label, but this should be optional.

Not only would this be useful for working with exported data when the field label of a field is very long, but it would address some shortcomings of Machform. There are times when you want to create a field with no label, for example if you are trying to simulate a compact data entry grid. And there are times when you may have repeated fields that all have the same field label. In both of these cases dealing with the exported data from these forms is problematic. In the first case, you have data columns with no heading and, in the second case, multiple columns with identical headings. Both of these situations can make it hard to use the exported data. If there was a "nickname" field attribute, which was not displayed on the form, these problems could be avoided.

People have asked for this feature before, several times if I recall correctly; although I could only find a couple of message threads related to this with a quick search:

Please reply to this thread if you would like to see this feature added to Machform.
