Importing data from an excel file.

    How do I import data from an excel file? I am not too technical, but I know how to get into mySQL etc, and can follow instructions. So is there an easy way to do this? How should I label each column so that it is the same structure and so on. Thanks.

    I'm afraid there is no easy way to do this within MachForm.
    You'll need to write some custom code to insert the data into the backend mysql database.

    We won't be able to provide you with the code for this. Sorry.

    You might want to try hiring PHP programmer from freelancer sites, such as www.freelancer.com -- to write a script that parse your Excel file and import it into your machform database.

    Simple ask him to write PHP script that able to parse an Excel file and then insert the data into an MySQL table.
