   Is it possible at all to split a payment into two at a specified period of time? Example - I want to charge a membership fee of $500, but make the first payment of $250 due immediately and the second due in 12 months. It seems that I cannot set a recurring payment to expire (I think that would be the work around).

   Any ideas?

   Do you use PayPal?

   You can set up recurring payments through paypal, set the initial payment to $250 and then 12 months later charge the other $250. I don't think MachForm does this, your payment gateway needs to do it I believe.

   You can also do this with Stripe, by enabling the Recurring Payments under Payment settings on each form. There is a 1 year option, so you can charge 250 today, and it will automatically schedule another 250 in one year from today (or use other monthly, daily options, etc.).

   There is also a trial period setting if you wanted to delay the first payment as well, yet still enter the payment info in Strip (for a future billing date).

   I just found a possibility - <Form Name> > Payment Settings and enable recurring - that could do it too.
