[closed] is it Wufoo?

your forms and software look fantastic. also, they look exactly like the hosted service from Wufoo.com, which i've been using for clients for the last 6 months. your interface bears more than a striking resemblance to the wufoo interface. so my question is:

are you the creators of wufoo?

No, I don't have any relation with wufoo.

Thats amazing, because the form interface you created is so similar (at least on the surface). how long have you been at this? i can't help but marvel at the similarities. is it possible they are using your code to run their service? or perhaps they have just imitated your work. have you seen their service at wufoo.com?

i've enjoyed their free hosted form option when adding forms to my client's sites, but i know many would prefer paying a $39 site license to own the form code, so you can expect me to come back and buy a license soon!

I must say that they are lot more advanced than us (tons of features) and they have been around for years.
If you prefer to have a hosted version with more features and don't like the hassle of installing php scripts, I suggest to use them.

Otherwise, if you need to host your own form, MachForm might be the choice.

And that's why I bought it. Compared to $9 a month for JotForm and the cheaper level of wufoo on their server, verses a one-time $39 charge for the files on my server, it was a no-brainer. Plus, adding any extra features is as easy as changing the php files.

yunair - i'm not sure i see what features wufoo offers that are actually useful for most of my clients. plus, i see several disadvantages for clients. i set up one client with a popular site and they quickly exceeded the 100 submissions/month limitation of the free wufoo account. oops, time to start paying wufoo every month! i'm going to recommend a switch to MachForm.

if you ever get the time, it might be a useful marketing tool to have a comparison chart comparing the features you offer (and cost) to several large competitors such as wufoo or jotform.

    keep up the good work.
