Loading data...

  1. Jacy
    Member

I cannot save a form therefore cannot create one.
    Below it says "loading data..."
I've just installed machform and set permissions to 777.
The footer.php is just as new as can be because it's a blank installation.
I've tried the php routine and it says "database connected"

    Are there anymore suggestions?
    Please help

    Hello Jacy,

Try to reupload all files under your "machform/js" folder and then delete your browser cache.

If the problem persist, can we login to your MachForm to check it directly.
Please send your MachForm login info to: customer.service [at] appnitro.com

One of these solutions usually fixed it:

    1) Reupload all files under your "machform/js".
    2) Restore the original footer.php file. Modifying footer.php would break your form builder page.

I just installed the program (fresh, new install) and am having the same problem - I can build a new form, but the form will not save. No error messages are generated. Footer says "Data loading..." which is has said since I initially clicked to add the new form.

    I have done the following:

installed machform and set permissions on DATA folder to 777
footer.php was reinstalled - nothing has been changed in the footer
    Reuploaded all files under "machform/js"
Tried the operation in both Firefox and Safari
Javascript is enabled...cleared cache...have done all the above suggestions.

Possibly a httpd.conf or vhost.conf issue. Check and make sure that the /tmp dir is accessible or in the right place. With the cursor sitting there going on forever, this tells me that you have an issue with the apache server config. Make sure that your <directory /> directives are correct for PHP.

    Hope this helps

I just installed the program (fresh, new install) and having a quite similar problem but not exactly the same.
I can't build a new form, since the buttons in the right side are disappeared and footer says "Loading Data..."
After fresh installation I logged on and got message "You have no form yet. Go create one!"
I clicked on "Create new form" and got page with footer that says "Loading Data..." and no buttons on right side of page.

As "cgraham" in above post I have done following:

    - changed config.php as written in installation Instructions here http://www.appnitro.com/machform/installation.
    - installed machform and set permissions on DATA folder to 777
    - footer.php was reinstalled - nothing has been changed in the footer
    - Reuploaded all files under "machform/js"
    - Tried the operation on both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer on two different computers.
    - On same computers the demo from http://www.appnitro.com/demo/manage_form.php works just fine.
    - Javascript is enabled...cleared cache...have done all the above suggestions.

    - My hosting has PHP version: 5.1.6 and MySQL - 5.0.45

    Anyone has ideas?

    * I cannot see the create form screen buttons normally on the right, right after installation.*
I get the "You have no fields yet!
Click the buttons on the right to add fields to your form."
    - Fields appear on the Right, but do not flip to the Button, as normally happens.

I have succussfuly done this on earlier win2003 server machine, but am having difficutly on a second similiar machine.

Nothing gets written to the data folder and no form tables get written to the DB.
Is this a permission problem in the folders or in the datababase or should I just load the entire folder?

most likely you were having corrupted javascript files. Try to reupload your "machform/js" folder which contains all the javascript files.
