local host on apache server

hi all
well i need someone to bail me out
i want to run and test the appnitro form software on my local host before uploading it to my web host
really i do not know how to go about it
can somebody please help

You will need to install Apached + PHP + MySQL on your local host.
You might want to use this:
http://www.wampserver.com/en/It will install all those software at once.

i have easy php installed already
in actual fact an apache server is running on my system
i simply can not figure out how to upload the files to the apache server/mysql/
i do not know how to go about applying your installation instruction to achieve this
in addition,how do i change the database name and password as well as configuring the admin settings
i am used to working with my files on a local server before uploading to a web host

simply upload the whole machform folder into your apache document root. It should be the same folder as any other files you have for your website.
Regarding the database name and password. There are few options to do that.
You can use the mysql command prompt, or you can install MySQL GUI client such as SQLYog available here: http://www.webyog.com/ (download the free Community version)Using the tool, you can easily manager your database, including the passwords.
