    You can edit themes (CSS) and put in your own CSS. (http://www.appnitro.com/doc-theme-editor) but I suppose you could edit the CSS direct (outside Machform) though probably not recommended. You can add custom CSS through the Advanced option under "Edit Themes";

    Many of the options that users wanted e.g. fields on one line etc (previously needing code / CSS modifications) are now part of the version 3.2. (the options such as fields on one line are added by a built-in CSS class within the field properties in the form editor.) http://www.appnitro.com/forums/forum/news-038-announcement contains news of some of the other features included with the relase of V 3.2 if you haven't already see the postings.

    What kind of modifications do you need to do?

    Why is editing the CSS directly not recommended? Isn't the css file form-specific? So worst that could happen is that particular form breaks visually, but if they backup the css file... They can just restore the original. I don't know why that wouldn't be recommended.

    I want to style the labels and the buttons to be all on one line and then I want display many multiple choice fields in two columns. I had it working fine in the last version where the css was easily editable from the back end? Please bring back the edit css tool.

    You can simply enter any custom CSS code through the "Advanced" menu from the theme editor.

    Also, if you would like to create columns, I suggest to update to v3.2, so that you will be able to use this easy feature to create columns:
