My forms have gone completely bizarre looking

I had a mess on my server and had to re-upload my machform folder, and since all my forms have changed and look all ugly with my fonts and colours from my theme not in place.

Any ideas what I have messed up?

PS. I am rubbish at this so any answers will have to be in layman's terms.

    Thank you!

There is no CSS file associated with the form.

    Files

    www.kellyannephotography.co.uk/machform/data/themes/theme_23.css and

    www.kellyannephotography.co.uk/machform/data/form_10911/css/view.css

are missing or are in the wrong directory.

thank you, how do I find them?

I am not very good at this, I just copied the machform folder straight onto my server, I am unsure as to where they could have gone.

Or am I missing a part out somewhere :/ oh dear!

If you had already created some forms before re-uploading, then you need to follow the upgrade instructions even if you are uploading the same version. The upgrade instructions http://www.appnitro.com/upgrading-machform-v3 state you should not overwrite the "data" folder, the "hooks" folder or the file config.php. Most likely you overwrote the data folder when you re-uploaded the files. This would destroy all of the data in the original data folder. If that is what you did then you should restore the data folder from your backup (from before you re-uploaded).

If you don't have a backup of the data folder, then there is a way to get you back up and running if you didn't do much customization to the CSS files for your form.

Ahh, yes slight problem I don't have a back up. I don't think I did any customisation. I am useless at this, I just don't understand how everything on the machform part of my site works fine and all my forms are fine on there but just not when I put them into use.

Should I still try and follow the upgrade instructions? Or is that part reliant on having the backed up files?

    Thank you

Here is the procedure (if you don't have a backup).

Create a new form. It doesn't matter what is in the form, just create it.

Using a FTP program, navigate to directory machform/data. If the new form you created is ID number 123 then you should see a directory named form_123.

Copy the entire directory form_123 and all sub folders and all data in those sub folders to a new directory and name it form_10911.

If you don't know how to copy a directory, just rename directory form_123 to form_10911. This will cause form 123 to no longer function, but it doesn't matter because you no longer need it.

In directory machform/data/themes you should find a file named theme_xx.css (the xx is unknown) It doesn't matter what the number is. Copy theme_xx.css to a new file and name it theme_23.css. If yo don't know how to copy just rename file theme_xx.css to theme_23.css.

That should get the formatting back up and running for form 10911.
