Password security in config file?

I was wondering, what is stopping someone from just going to yourdomain.com/machform/config.php and getting the login/pass right there and then modifying your form?

you can't simply open that file from the browser and see the content, since it's a PHP file.

Try to open our config file here:
    http://www.appnitro.com/forms/config.php

You will only see a blank page, which is as expected.

What about using a simple website downloader application, such as BlueCrab?

There is no problem with that as well, you will only able to download an empty page as well.
In short, it is impossible to access the content of that config.php file from any outside http URL.

The only way to access that file content is using FTP.
