   Hi there, I'm planning to use MachForm as an order submission form system.

   1. After customers submit an order, is it possible to assign an order number where customers can use to check the status, i.e. shipped, etc., of his order via a query form?

   2. Can administrators create a field where he can modify the status of an order.

   It would be great if this can be achieved. I don't know PHP coding and wondering if this is possible before making a purchase. Thanks.

   Adding order status and order number field which can be modified by admin only is possible.
   Simply create the field and set the field property as 'admin only'.

   However, MachForm doesn't have any built in feature to let your customer know their order status.
   You'll need to write your own code for this.

   I'm bumping this post since it is four years old to see if this feature may have been added. I would like to be able to have an order number automatically assigned when they submit their form that can be referenced in any email or something they can write on the shipping box as we receive their packages they are sending us.

   MachForm already generate sequential number for each for submission. You can display it within the email using template variable "{entry_no}"
   I suppose you can add some prefix code in front of the template variable to make it more sensible.
