   The paypal payment uses the price field value as the paypal description. How do I specify something else?
   For example, the form say "Your total cost for this camp:" which is what the paypal description becomes. Instead I would like it to say "2013 Next Gen Camp".

   Are you charging a fixed amount or variable amount?
   If you are charging a fixed amount, you should be able to set the description from the "Price Name" field on your payment setting page.

   Unfortunately it's variable. I am asked to select a field and the field's label (i.e. "Total Price") is chosen. My suggestion would be to have an additional field that appears when the field type is Price which would allow you to add a ""Payment Receipt Description" (or something similar).

   I needed the same thing. A relatively simple modification to post-functions.php did the trick. If you are comfortable modifying php code I can provide the mods I made.
