Unable to login

Hello - I just purchased and installed your product and am unable to login. I've set the admin user and password in config.php, and have verified that I'm putting in the correct credentials when attempting to login. Unsuccessful login attempts send me back to the login page without an error message.
I'm just the web designer on this project, and am unsure who the host company is, but I believe it is Verio (I saw some other posts about issues with powweb).

    Any ideas?

    Hi damian,

Most likely it's a similar problem as Powweb.

Try to edit your php.ini as I've posted there.

If you don't feel comfortable doing it, I can help you fixing it, just send me your FTP login info.

Mail the info to: customer.service [at] appnitro.com
    or submit request here:

I don't have control over the webhost environment, its managed by someone else, and they are either unable or unwilling to make the session change. (At least, I'm guessing its a session issue, as the session path generated by phpinfo doesn't have any session data in it after trying to login to Machform.) Is it possible to disable the session requirement?

It is possible to remove session requirement, edit your includes/check-session.php file and remove all code there. Make sure to remove all of them, including any white space or empty lines.

That would also open your machform admin panel to anyone though.

I must say that session is a very basic feature which all host should support it, since almost all PHP application would need to use it.

So, it's weird if your host are unable/unwilling to fix this issue.

Are you sure you don't want me to check your server? Just in case there is something else I can do. If you need me to do it, feel free to send email to the above address.

Thank you for the offer, yuniar. I only have FTP access to the server -- I'm doing work for a client of mine, and they're hosting through a reseller, which explains the complication of getting the actual folks that admin the server to fix the issue.

I am having this same issue, with Host Centric. I read the other post regarding this issue, but really don't know what to do to fix it, even after the read. I have full control panel, and ftp access. Can anyone help with this issue?
